FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC) is one of the most exciting and challenging STEM programs for high school students. FRC combines the excitement of sports with the rigor of engineering, creating an unforgettable experience. In FRC students work together to design, build, and compete with robots. Through this program, student gain real-world experience, and develop valuable life skills. This skills will allow students to succeed in any career.

What is GVRA?
The Gallatin Valley Robotics Association (GVRA), believes every student deserves the opportunity to explore, grow and succeed in a variety of fields. Through FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC), our team members don’t just build robots, they develop a wide range of valuable skills. These skills prepare students for careers in any field.
Through participation in FRC, students gain hands-on experience no only in engineering, software development, engineering design, and robotics. They also develop skills in business, marketing, project management, and leadership. Working together as a team student manage budgets, build partnerships, design robots, and maintain them through an intensive six-week competition season.
